Established in 1855, the Upsilon Chapter of Beta Theta Pi has solidified its reputation as one of the most dynamic fraternities at the University of South Carolina. Beyond the confines of the campus, we actively contribute to both the USC and Columbia communities. Our engagement is reflected in our participation in school-sponsored organizations, community service initiatives, and collaborations with other Greek organizations on campus.

Committed to realizing the vision of our founders, our fraternity is a diverse assembly of individuals who ardently pursue the highest standards of excellence. Currently boasting nearly 160 active brothers originating from various regions nationwide, our chapter is bound together by shared aspirations and interests in service, scholarship, and the cultivation of meaningful relationships. These common objectives serve as the driving force that characterizes and unites our fraternity.
